LINDA BARKUS, CPA

Linda joined the firm in 2002, bringing extensive experience in individual and business tax planning and preparation as well as financial statement preparation.

She began her career more than 30 years ago in the San Francisco offices of Coopers & Lybrand. Since then she has worked with several local accounting firms as well as heading her own firm. Linda has served as an officer and board member for a variety of local not-for-profit organizations. She also served multiple stints as the treasurer for both elementary school and college parent groups.

Linda actively supports many local environmental, social and cultural organizations. She enjoys participating in their various fund-raising events where she has the opportunity to meet people and enjoy new experiences.

Participation in City Club of Portland, World Affairs Council of Oregon, Oregon Society of CPA's, Technical Assistance for Community Services (TACS), and American Association of University Women are a sampling of her professional affiliations.

The outdoors is where you'll find Linda during her time away from the office. She loves flower gardening, reading, traveling, running (30 years and still going strong), yoga and other physical activities. The fountain of youth is just around the next bend in the road…
